The very purpose of our life is to seek happiness

“I believe that the very purpose of our life is to seek happiness. That is clear. Whether one believes in religion or not, whether one believes in this religion or that religion, we all are seeking something better in life. So, I think, the very motion of our life is towards happiness.” ~Dalai Lama in The Art of Happiness

Good to see the Dalai Lama and I are on the same page!

  2. Today I found this passage in a book, and it made me think of your happiness experiment…
“Happiness is a process built on close relationships, accomplishing goals, caring, achievement and the spirit of service…..it is found in doing and thinking, then the feeling comes….” food for thought from a book on grieving of all things, I liked the idea it was a PROCESS versus an endpoint….
